STORY TIME
Welcome to our world! I am Caroline Angorine, and I am joined by my friends and bandmates who share my passion. FARIN began in 2016 when Niklas and I connected and started crafting our sound. Through our music studies in Liverpool UK, our band solidified with the addition of Danny Sauceda on bass, Leon Storer on sax, and Gavin Sullivan on drums. Drawing from the essence of my artwork in the form of paintings and textiles, Niklas and I weave melodies that reflect our vision. Returning to our roots in Norway in 2022, we expanded our musical family to include Magnus Berdal Holm on keys, Henrik Bakka on bass, and Torbjørn Eriksen on drums. Our home on the southern island now houses not only our music but also our beloved bakery, "café Angorine," a tribute to my great grandmother's legacy. Join us as we blend music, art, and baked goods in a harmonious celebration of creativity.

Torbjørn´s girlfriend Marie Skagemo is our hypewoman, supporter, and photographer all in one! She excels in taking pictures, assisting with organizing videos and photoshoots, and bringing forth a wealth of creative ideas.Marie has her own projects and creates her own music with her bandmates. Johannes Rønning is a wizard and never stops amazing us with the things he knows. Not only an amazing musician, but he is also our finishing producer, mixer, and photographer. He is also the go-to guy if you need a new speaker, vinyl player, or TV!
Johannes mixed and produced our debut album “The bakery after closing hours”. He also plays keys, synth, accordion and sings a little on the album. All pictures on the website is also done by Johannes <3
Our favorite way to work on all of our projects together is by having sleepovers. Everyone sleeps in our living room. We pop popcorn, bake bread, and play music in the kitchen. We exercise together, go swimming in the ocean, and play cardboard games.
At the zen-loft
Niklas and I live at the zen loft. Here, we wake up at sunrise, then make music, paint, bake bread, create stickers, sew clothes and craft coffee art.
In summertime we live part time in our PRANAVAN Sid Arthur. He is made out of scarps found by the ocean and in trash cans. We bring our plants and instruments when we move out from our flat for a few weeks and spend the days in the mountains and fields.
